From Matsuyama city to Matsuyama port

Two questions...
1.Any idea how do i reach from the center of Matsuyama to Matsuyama Port to take the boat to Hiroshima?
2. From Hiroshima Port is it far away to go to the city center?How much does it cost?

Matsuyama Port (Matsuyama Sightseeing Port) is located northwest of the city center. From Matsuyama-shi Station, take the Iyotetsu Takahama Line to Takahama Station (20 minutes, 410 yen), from where the port is a short bus ride (2 minutes, 160 yen) or a 10-15 minute walk. Alternatively, there are direct, hourly buses from JR Matsuyama Station to the port (20 minutes, 460 yen).

At Hiroshima Port, the trams stop right in front of the port. It takes 30 minutes, 160 yen by tram to Hiroshima Station.

I've done what Uji-san suggested twice now. You can also take a taxi from the station to the port (the port at the end of the rail line is not what you want; you need to go a little north to get to the one you want). Walking is easy enough if you don't have a lot of luggage. From the Hiroshima side both tram lines go to Hiroshima station, just by different routes.
