Skytree's white light-up 2014/5/12 18:22
The day I went to Tokyo Skytree, the night lightup was 100% white.
I think it was quite uncommon because usually it has a white+blue or white+purple lightup. Two days after I went to Skytree, I could see the tower from far away during the evening, and that day it had the blue lightup.

So I wanted to ask if the 100% white lightup is a common lightup or it was just for a special event?

By the way, if someone on the forum knows by heart the differents lightup dates or Skytree in a year, I would be thankful if he/she could write it down here :)

thanks!

I guess the day was a special day you saw the white light up of the tree.
In February-March of this year, the write-up of Valentine's specification has been carried out in several days.
Special lighting up has been carried out, in March 10, for the memorial service of the Bombing of Tokyo, and, in March 11, for the pray for the Recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake.

Special write-up is also performed Tanabata, pink ribbon, Christmas, and New Year.
