Where to stay for Hakone Summer Festival?

Hi all!
I will be in Hakone at August, 2nd and I want to see the fireworks from lake Ashinoko, but how I could return to my hotel at Gora after fireworks? If it was hard, could you suggest me some Ryokan or hotels that are more simple to reach that have also a private en-suite open bath?

I recall the buses run as late as 10ish or 11.
