From Hiroshima to Kurokawa?

Hello all,
I will need to get from Hiroshima to Kurokawa onsen town on June 24th. Since there is no train to Kurokawa, I suppose the Trans Kyushu Odan bus line is my best option, but there are not that many departures in a day?
Could anyone tell me, if I should take the train from Hiroshima to Beppu or to Kumamoto, and when to catch a bus from there to Kurokawa?
