Hello All, I arrive in Tokyo on Tuesday. My hotel is in Keio Hachioji. I contacted the hotel for directions from Narita. They said "the best way to get to the hotel is taking a limousine bus". My problem is I am scheduled to arrive in Tokyo at 8:30am. The limousine bus departs at 9:10am The next bus scheduled after that is 15:10pm. By the time I go through passport control, pick up my luggage etc. I am unlikely to catch the 8:30 bus. And, after landing after a 12 hour flight the prospect of waiting in the airport for about 6 hours for the next bus is not good. My question is there any other I can get to Keio Hachioji station? Taxis be too expensive. If any could offer suggestions I appreciate your help! Thank You

How about taking a bus to Seiseki-Sakuragaoka? The bus to Seiseki-Sakuragaoka leaves Narita at around 10:30. https://www.limousinebus.co.jp/en/platform_searches/index/2/99It's 11 minute train ride from Seseki-Sakuragaoka to Keio-Hachioji by Keio Superexpress and costs \180. At Seiseki-Sakuragaoka station, take the train whose destination is Keio-Hachioji, then you will not take the wrong train.

If you have a JR Pass, go to JR Tokyo Station by Narita Express(NEX), then switch to Chuo line(Orange train) departs from plat form No, 1 and 2 for either "Hachi0ji" or "Takao". Make sure check the destination "Hachioji" or "Takao". All Chuo-lines depart from Tokyo Station plat form No.1 and 2. Therefore you can 100% sit there. You better to sit near doors of the train. There you can sit and leave your luggage beside doors. When you arrive in JR Hachioji Station, go to North exit, you can see the hotel(3 mins walking distance).

tokyo friend 48: go to JR Tokyo Station by Narita Express (NfEX), then switch to Chuo line (Orange train) departs from platform No, 1 and 2
Please note that the platform of Tokyo Station used by trains from NRT is deep under the ground (on the 5th basement) while the Chuo Line platform is above the ground. Your train arrives at a track No. 1 or 2, but that is a Sobu Underground track, not the Chuo Line track No. 1 or 2. You can go up, using either one elevator or two escalators (short then long), to the concourse on the 1st basement. There you can find another escalator leading up to the central pathway. Reaching the pathway, you soon find an escalator for the Chuo Line platform.
