Hike to Akita-komagatake

I intend to hike Akita-komagatake in Sep this year. But I understand that in Sep, the bus from Tawazako Station to Akita-komagatake 8th station operates only on weekends.. How do I get up to Akita-komagatake without taking a bus? Is it possible to hike up to Akita-komagatake from Arupa Komakusa or Nyuyo Onsen? If yes, how long will it take?
