Is the JR pass worth it? 2014/6/29 19:58
Hi,

I will touch down in Haneda and want to travel to nagoya straight. I will be staying there for 3 nights and head off to hakone for 2 nights and from hakone i will go Nikko for 1 night. The reason I am planning it this way is to make full use of the 7 days JR pass.

However, I understand that Hakone offers Hakone free pass and Nikko offers free pass (with round trip from Tokyo). If that is the case I won't be utilisng my JR pass alot except for the following trips:

- Haneda-Shinagawa-Nagoya
- Nagoya-Odawara
- Hakone Yumoto-Tokyo-Nikko

Is it still worth it to get the pass or shld I buy 1 way tickets instead?

After NIkko, I will be staying in Tokyo for the rest of my trips.
