KIX to Hotel Seagull Tempozan Osaka

Hello - we get into KIX at 2135pm for a layover and are looking to get to the Hotel Seagull Tempozan in Osaka near the aquarium. What's the best (and cheapest way if possible) to do this? We have a family of four with two children 10 and under. Also, we are leaving the next day from the Aquarium back to KIX, with flight leaving at 435pm, what's best way to get back to KIX and what time do we need to leave from aquarium area? thanks!

Omotenashi is saying that you can either take a combination of bus to the Herbis Osaka stop and then catch a taxi to your hotel in which case the taxi portion is about 20 min, 3800 yen; or take a taxi for the entire journey which would be about 2 hours 8500 yen.

That said, if you are considering non-train routes then you may as well go with a taxi straight from the airport. It'll cost about the same as the bus/taxi combo but be faster and more convenient.

You cannot reserve your seats of a limousine bus on this line.
It might be a little faster to take a taxi all the way, but the taxi fare may be over 17000 yen per car, surpassing the double of the fees in total for a limousine bus and a taxi from Herbis Osaka.

Yes, I just went over your numbers and the original quote of 8500 yen was way off. A taxi between will cost about 15000 yen one way plus tolls and take around 40-60 minutes depending on traffic. In light of those recalculations, I think you'd be better off using train and taxi instead.
