Me and my brother are going to Mt. Fuji in August and I'm wondering where the best place would be to enjoy the nature near Mt. Fuji. We don't really want to climb the mountain, just be near it.

Kawaguchilake and there is lots of hotels around the lake and a bus goes to 5th statation of the fuji-mtn.
I have done it few times and had no problem.
