Nara

Osaka-Namba is a station of Kintetsu-line. It is walking distance from Namba subway station.

After Kintetsu-Nara, you can take a bus (short ride) or just walk.

Kiyomizudera

I recommend to take Keihan line.

You can walk from Kiyomizu-Gojo station to Kiyomizudera.

Tsurumi-Ryokuchi

Dear kawai,

it is too rush to go to both nara and kyoto in one day, i will stay at namba, if ok,go to which one first?

If you just go to Kiyomizudera and Nara park, I think it is OK. If you have only one day to explore Kyoto and Nara, the above two places are appropriate for the first timer, I think. Of course, if you have more time I recommend you to take more time, especially for Kyoto (other places of Higashiyama district, Kinkakuji and Arashiyama).

I think Kiyomizudera is more popular, so that you might better to visit it first, since there are less crowd in the morning. There are many souvenir shops and cafes along the ascending road to Kiyomizudera, you might be trapped by them :).

how far to walk if i walk from ΄…Ž›Œάπ‰wβ‹to ΄…Ž›

It is 1.7 km and 22 min walk, according to googlemap.

You can take a bus to Gojozaka, which will shorten the walk by 10 min or so.

Do you call it nara_ŽŒφ‰€? It is very interesting. Nara park by itself has no gate, and there is no admission fee. If you want to see the great buddha in Todaiji, the fee is 500 yen for adult (over 12 years old) and 300 yen for child (6-12 years old). Children under 5 is free of charge.

The admission for Kiyomizudera is 300 yen for adult, 200 yen for child (6-15 years old).

Take note that half of the way is pretty steep. There are a few routes that you can take but you can expect some hill climbing for all the routes.

Have fun!
