from Ohara to Pontocho? Bus 17?

I saw that bus 17 from Kyoto station can go to Pontocho. Bus 17 will end at Ohara right?
If i were to take bus 17 from Ohara towards Kyoto, what is the name of bus stop to alight to have a walk and dinner at Pontocho?
Any better alternative to travel from Ohara to Pontocho?
