Liquor stores in Kyoto (whisky & awamori)

That being Japanese whisky and high-end aged awamori (kusu). I've been to La Cave Yamaya and the Likaman on Imadegawa-Horikawa. Those two definitely aren't small but I can't say they impressed me in terms of these two categories.
(Actually, I'm secretly hoping there's some insane alcohol hypermarket in town and that someone will point me to it.)

I'm not familiar with liquor and certainly have not been to the stores you mentioned.
However I do know of a "Liquor Mart" somewhere in Takeda.
How about all the other various local drinks from Fushimi-ku you find in the small stores?
