Hey guys, can anyone help me with this? I cant read in japanese so it is harder to research something usefull. And my family name have the same kanji as the shrine (more harder to research).
I remember my dad told me my great grand parent ( or great great grand parent) was a samurai. Maybe it is easier to find something.
Thanks

I hope you are aware that family names and "kamon" are not in one-to-one relationships. This means that people with the same family name "Ise" from different parts of Japan, with different family lineage, will have different "kamon."
You will need to find out more about your family's past - where they come from, if possible the name of the lord they served, etc.
