I'm from India. We wish to travel to mt fuji, kyoto and osaka from tokyo on 27th, 28th & 29th August 2014. Could you suggest a good itinerary and the places to be visited? Also, we are planning to buy the JR pass.

Well, I think all 3 destinations within 3 days can be a bit too much, but here's what I'd do. Hakone on Day one, Evening Shinkansen to Osaka and book 2 nights around Shin-Osaka station. Then do two day visits to Kyoto and enjoy Osaka in the evening. Early Shinkansen back to Tokyo in the morning of the 4th day.
