Hi everyone,
End of December, beginning of January I will be in Japan.
I am considering buying a JP Rail Pass, but only for 14 days. That said, I have to cover a few days without JP Pass. I know Kamakura/Enoshima and Nikko are both covered by JP pass... and considering the fares it is better to do Kamakura/Enoshima on December 30th!
But I read only a lot of things close on December 30th... So what is better to do on December 30th? I'd like to know which is the better option...

I don't know about new years eve specifically, but I found Enoshima to be a brilliant place and I'd go back for sure. Nikko was OK. But there'd be a chance you might get snow at Nikko, if that was a driver.
