Hi,
I was wondering if it's generally allowed to sleep outside, perhaps on Sunset Beach? Won't have a tent, however.

I hear that it depends on local rules and that it is generally not allowed without getting permission. Especially if it is private property, it is not allowed without getting permission. In many cases, it is not clear whether a park is privately owned or not. Not sure about Sunset Beach.

Do you know if there's any part of the beach where I can sleep without being open to the public? Or on that island, if there are any local parks where nojuku might be easier?
