hi i got left a satsuma vase to me by my mother it is brown with gold leaves and birds was told the gold is 9 ct gold but im not sure on that im trying to find out any details on it ie; year is it of any value

I think it's a traditional invisible vase.

While you are at it, provide pictures of any markings it has, and state its condition. A close up of the surface painting would also be helpful.
Satsuma vases are normally not completely worthless, even if they are not genuine. If it is an authentic one, then it normally costs a good deal. Don't get too excited about 9k gold part though. Nowadays, even a cheap vase can be handmade and painted with 24k gold.
