Can I still Use my Old Passport ?

Currently now im in japan , I want to go home because ill be studying now my friends told me that ill be HOLD in the immigration at the airport if i dont have the small logo in the front of the passport , My Passport will be expired this 2015 , and i want to renew it in the Philippines only . Can i still Go home even though my passport is Old ? :/ PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTION .

A small logo? What kind of logo?
If your passport got you into the country, it will get you out provided it is not damaged or expired. I don't know what your friends are talking about, but if you're really worried about it, call your embassy and speak to someone there. Getting reassurance from random people on some internet forum versus real answers from your actual embassy is going to make a difference.
