Ferries to Yakushima less frequent in autumn?

Hello,
According to summer ferry schedule, the latest ferry from Yakushima to Kagoshima leaves Miyanoura Port at 17:15. Therefore if I start the hike to Jomon Sugi very early in the morning, I should be able to do round trip hike and go back to Kagoshima in the same day. But does this ferry still operate in autumn (November) or there are no such a late connections anymore?
