1-day city bus pass with Shugakuin Villa 2014/8/7 16:11
I check on city bus map.
It is shown that bus no.5 run through Shugakuin Imperial Villa.

but on Japan-guide doesn't mention this.
So, I'm not sure if I can use 1 day city bus pass to get there instead of taking a railway.

Thank you

Yes, bus 5 runs past the villa.

Kyoto locations often just seem to show the nearest stop. That's probably because you don't know where people are travelling from for reference. Also, it is probably significantly faster to go to Shugakuin via train than the much slower buses (depending on where you're coming from of course).

Yes, but the villa is outside of the free zone so you'll have to pay a surcharge. I'm not sure how much the surcharge is.
