Need help with Japan trip plan

Hi everyone. Please help me organize my itinerary. Thank you.

Nov 13 - Arrive in Tokyo at 6:55pm. Stay at airport hotel

Nov 14 - Airport to Kyoto, get to Kyoto at 1pm. Check in hotel. Start exploring from 2pm - not sure what I should do in the afternoon on this day. Any suggestions?

Nov 15 - Eastern Kyoto Full Day (thinking of following japan-guide's Eastern Kyoto itinerary, which includes Ginkakuji, Philosopher's Path, Nanzenji, Keage Incline, Heian Shrine, Yasaka Shrine, Kodaiji, Kiyomizudera). Has anyone followed this plan before? I don't want to rush anything, I want to enjoy these sights at a reasonable pace.

Nov 16 - I will be going to see some bands on this day in Kyoto so I'm not sure if I'll do any sight-seeing.

Nov 17 - Northern Kyoto (So far I'd like to see Kinkakuji but I'm not sure what else to do on this day? Any suggestions, anyone?)

Nov 18 - Arashiyama

Nov 19 - Kyoto to Hiroshima, stay overnight in Hiroshima

Nov 20 - Hiroshima to Miyajima (Mt Misen, Itsukushima shrine). Head back to Kyoto from Miyajima.

Nov 21 - Fushimi Inari, Nara. Travel to Shinjuku from Nara at about 5pm, arrive in Shinjuku in the evening, check into hotel, rest.

Nov 22 - Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ginza

Nov 23 - Harajuku, Omotesando

Nov 24 - Tokyo Disneyland

Nov 25 - Asakusa, Akihabara

Nov 26 - Tokyo (I will have multiple free days in Tokyo as there are a few suburbs that I want to visit but I don't really want to set a specific date for them - will be doing what my travel partner and I feel like on those days :) )

Nov 27 - Tokyo

Nov 28 - Tokyo

Nov 29 - Tokyo

Nov 30 - Tokyo

Dec 1 - Leave, catch flight back home.

Does this sound like an okay plan, can it be improved, and is Hiroshima/ Miyajima a MUST DO, because I may not be able to go to Hiroshima or Miyajima (as much I would love to go) and possibly only Kyoto/Nara/Tokyo. I didn't include Osaka as I'm not particularly interested in going there. I'm also thinking of getting the 14 day JR pass if I include Hiroshima and Miyajima. If I don't go there I'll just get a 7 day pass.

I would spend less time in Tokyo and more in Chugoku, Hiroshima/Miyajima or possibly Okayama, Kobe, etc.
