Meeting British people in Tokyo 2014/8/9 16:11
Hi all,

I am about to finish my summer holiday back in England, and my time here has made me realise something...I need to make more British friends when I am in Japan. I live in Matsumoto but will be moving to Tokyo early next year, so I want to make some British friends ahead of the move.

I already have plenty of Japanese and American friends, but the British friends who I did have have gone back to the UK. In truth, I have always been a bit negative about my homeland, but this holiday has reminded me of the positives, mainly the people and their shared sense of humour that I have missed over the last 2-3 years.

So if anybody could point me in the direction of any specific groups/meetings that occur on weekends, then I would be very grateful! :)

Many thanks.

Rich :)

Have you thought about contacting the British (UK) Embassy at 1 Ichibancho Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo
phone 03 5211 1100?
Often the consulate or embassy hold social functions for expats, could be worth giving them a call.
