What is the best time to visit Mt Fuji?

My family and I (all adults) had just returned from a trip to Osaka/Kyoto/Nara in July this year. We had a lovely time there albeit some rain showers. We would like to return to Japan for a Mt Fuji trip next year. What would be the best month to visit?
