Sapporo to Asahidake in 1 day? 2014/8/18 20:00
Hey guys!

I'm thinking about getting into Asahikawa early in the morning to catch the first bus to Asahidake onsen and get to the summit and back. Is it doable in a day? The last bus leaves at 1715. I'm worried 6 hours might not be enough to complete the trip.

I'll be travelling in the end of september and I'm fairly fit and active.

Hi
It is said that a round trip from the ropeway station to the summit needs 4 hours in summer.
However, snow lay in Asahidake starts from late Sep. So it depends how much it snows.
Tempureture at the ropeway station in Sep is 4.9 - 9.2 degrees and in Oct is minus1.4 - 1.9 degrees.
Have a nice trip
