Odaiba - Best time to visit 2014/8/26 03:00
I'm planning 6 days in Tokyo and wonder what day / time is the best to visit Odaiba?

I've heard its a good dating spot so would be interested to know what would be the best time to catch this vibe - assume the weekend would be best, is it more of a day spot or nighttime too?

I say nighttime, as you can see everything lit up!

I spent a considerable amount of time in Tokyo last year, including three trips to Odaiba.

The best trip I had went as such.
-Get there around 3:30 or 4:00
-Spend a couple of hours exploring the area
-Have dinner
-See all the lights and took way too many photos
-Watch Fuji TV building light show
- Leave around 9:00 or 9:30ish

As said by the others, the evening is definitely the best time for Odaiba. During the day it is really only worth going to take a few photos, go shopping or if you are going to an event at the Tokyo Big Sight

Hope this helps

During my visit to Tokyo I spent a whole day in Odaiba. There's definitely activities to keep you busy for as long as you want, really.
