Resort Shirakami

Hello,

I am aware that the schedule for winter for Resort Shirakami is not out, however as i check the last winter schedule as below link, may i ask base on last winter schedule, dose train run in weekdays too? it seem it never state as in the link that it run only in weekend as i have googled. thanks

The Resort Shirakami runs daily. There are three departures per day.

I'm sorry, I don't quite understand your question.

I've travel on Shirakami last year in November, lovely train with good scenery routes.

I would advise to catch the morning train otherwise you won't see much in the dark.

I would advise to go on weekdays, and catch the Blue Aoike. This is the newest of the three train.

This route are running in reduce schedule during the low season eg winter. You will need to check nearer the time.

I caught this train on a Monday, there were less then 10 passenger, however on the weekend when I saw it when pass Hirosaki, the is more then 70% occupied.

to yllwsmrf, what i mean the start of the rail line moving toward akita from aomorri is at aomori station or at Hirosaki station?

it seem during last dec, this train run everyday and the early train that leave aomori is at 8:23 and arrived akita at 13.16pm. Am i right as i read the schedule?

The Resort Shirakami sounds like a tourist trap to me. Do yourself a favor: get on the ground and explore!
