Nightclubs - A Life in azabu, other Clubs

Hi,
I used to go to A Life in Azabu Juban and this used to be my favourite club, I'm returning to Tokyo for a trip and would like to go but I have heard its been closed down - but possibly only temporarily?
Could anyone confirm the situation?
If so what are good alternatives - I'm looking for a nice club with good atmosphere, not looking for one of the meat market clubs like in Ropponghi full of Gaijin.
A Life was good as it had a lounge to talk in and IMO the girls their were the most beautiful of any other Tokyo club, and it wasn't like the Ropponghi scence. Have been to Womb, Ageha etc but didn't really rate them against ALife.

The Nishi-Azabu A-life closed quite a long time ago, maybe around Spring 2012. Unfortunately it's unlikely to be temporary considering how long it's been closed.
