Fujikyu Highlands Resort

If I arrive by train at the Fujikyu Highlands Station, how do I get to the Highlands Resort (i.e. Hotel)? Do I have to go through the Fuji-Q Highlands or walk around it?
Does anyone know if there is a special entrance or exit just for hotel guests, or do I have to (again) walk around it to get to the main entrance near the station?
