Any Bus to Shiraoi Ainu Village Museum

Pls help. I will visit Sapporo in mid March 2015 and would like to visit the Ainu Village. Budget is a little tight so I would like to know if it is possible to take a bus instead of car and train to get there from Sapporo. Also, how much would the fare cost for a round trip? Your advice is very much appreciated.

I don't think there is a bus. But even if there were one, the fare would be very similar to the fare of local trains:
