From Where? What is your hotel name?

Do you mean from Narita Airport to Higashi-Shinjuku Station?

You don't say where you are travelling from, but I would recommend looking at Google Maps and using HyperDia to work out the best way to get there if you are travelling by train/subway.

Hello dear friends, sorry I noticed wasn't clear on that, I am coming from Tokyo Station, my hotel is located along Meiji Dori
in the Kabuki-cho area. I have been to the hotel before but from Tokyo station to Shinjuku Higashi I get so confused.

I will appreciate directions, thank you

From Tokyo:

Take the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line to Shinjuku-Sanchome then take the Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin Line to Higashi-Shinjuku.
Cost \200

Depending on where exactly the hotel is, I would probably take the Marunouchi Line subway from Tokyo Station directly to Shinjuku-sanchome Station and walk from there. Using Higashi-Shinjuku Station will entail at least one transfer on the way, and it will still be a long walk from the platforms to the Kabukicho area (as the Oedo Line platforms are deep underground, and the Fukutoshin Line platforms are located further to the north).

Regarding the transfer in Shinjuku-sanchome Station (from M-09 to F-13)
: Express trains on Fukutoshin Line skip Higashi-shinjuku Station.
: During 7:50 - 9:20 on weekdays, passengers cannot make a transfer via the direct pathway from Marunouchi Line to Fukutoshin Line inside ticket gates of Shinjuku-sanchome Station.

my hotel is located along Meiji Dori in the Kabukicho area.

Then, Higashi-shinjuku Station (E-02) on Toei subway Oedo Line is closer than Higashi-shinjuku Station (F-12) on Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin Line.

Regular fare: 280 yen; Traveling time: about 30 minutes.
Gate: Tokyo (M-17): Track1
| [Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line]
Track1: (M-08) Shinjuku: Gate
--transfer--

Gate: Shinjuku-nishiguchi (E-01): Track 2
| [Toei subway Oedo Line]
Track 2: (E-02) Higashi-shinjuku: Gate, Exit A1

How will you come to Tokyo Station? By Shinkansen?
Tokyo Station complex is large and complicated, so you had better know in advance how you can get to the subway Marunouchi Line platform.

Hello forum friends,

Thank you so much for all the valuable advise!
They are very helpful. After I read your posts, I immediately cancelled my hotel booking on Meiji Dori. I learned through your posts, how much time I will be wasting getting to and back the hotel from Tokyo.
I chose a more convenient location which is near the JR Akihabara station.
Thank you so much to all of you!
Happy travel!
