Day trip to Nagasaki Festival possible?

I'm staying in Osaka in October and I want to visit the Nagasaki Kunchi Festival in Nagasaki(7-9th), however I'm also attending the Takayama Matsuri and already booked a hotel for 8-10th. I was thinking about traveling to Nagasaki and staying overnight on the 6th, seeing the festival on the morning of the 7th, then heading back to Osaka later that day and departing for Takayama on the 8th.

Is it worth the rush to visit for a day? I've never been to Nagasaki so I don't know how realistic this trip is.

No problem if hotels in Nagasaki city or around already not full.

In 1st day only two place (need viewing ticket)
at Suwa-shrine[諏訪神社(-jinja)] and Otabisho[お旅所].

Only Suwa-shrine sales standing(solo) ticket 1500Y
as [立見券(tachimi-ken)]. on the day.
４人(viewers) seat set [枡席(masu-seki)] ticket price is so.

After Otabisho around near town street
as Niwasaki-mawari[庭先回り] viewing all free.

Is it possible for me to see the festival on the morning of the 7th by myself? I did book a hotel near Nagasaki station so I could attend one.
