Takayama hokuriku pass routing issue

I will be in nagoya nov 28. Until 5 dec 2014.
We plan to visit takayama shirakawa Kanazawa Fukui follow by tsuruga if we go further to Kyoto Osaka area
We need to go back Nagoya via tokaido line is that available .
Kindly advise
The reason is we want to save time. We don't want to return by same route from Nagoya
