Gora Station To Fujikyu Highlands

Hello,

My girlfriend and I will be visiting Japan in October and will be spending three nights in Hakone.

We would like to go Fuji-Q amusement park on either the 14th or 15th of October.

The station closest to our hotel is Gora station, so I was just wondering what the best way to get from Gora Station to Fujikyu Highlands Station is?

From what I can see it will be a bus from Gora to Sengoku, then a bus from Sengoku to Gotemba and then a bus from Gotemba to Fujikyu Highlands station. Is this correct?

Correct!
But it takes time....about 2hours or so.

Looking at the Hakone Tozan bus route between Gora Station and Gotemba station it looks like it would be best to catch the S line from Gora station to Sengoku and then the W line from Sengoku to Gotemba.

However, I'm having trouble finding timetables for these bus lines in English.

I most interested in finding out what the earliest bus departure from Gora station is and what the earliest bus departure from Sengoku is.

My hotel has recommended getting a taxi from the hotel to Gotemba station and then catching a bus from there, so that is another option.

I recommend you to move to Gotenba by taxi because it takes time and you are going long steep winding downhill. As for the earliest departure time, why don't you ask the hotel staff. I'll try to check the timetable too.

I asked a bus staff. The bus bound for Gotemba from Gora are only twice a day, so be careful. The earliest departure is at 07:14 a.m. both on weekdays and holidays, the next is at 15:19 on weekdays, 15:19 on holidays. Those areas are near my hometown so I know there well.

There ia a bus No. S from Gora station (bus stop no.2) to Gotemba Outlets every hour started at 9:40.

From Gotemba outlet, you can go to Fujikyu Highlands by Fujikyu Bus.
The bus leave the Gotemba outlets at 11:15, 13:20, 14:45, 15:25, 16:15, 16:55, 18:15

Yes, it looks like the Hakone Tozan G line departs from Gora at 07:14am and arrives at Gotemba station at 08:02am (according to this timetable: http://www.hakonenavi.jp/traffic/in_access/traffic_info/sche_fare/pdf/...)

And then from Gotemba it looks like there is a Fujikyu bus that departs from Gotemba at 08:10am and arrives at Fujikyu Highlands at 09:16am (according to this timetable: http://bus.fujikyu.co.jp/line/jikokuhyo/01.html)

So it looks like catching these two buses will get us to Fujikyu Highlands at 09:16am (pretty close to the opening time).

Am I reading these timetables correctly?
