Kansai Thru Pass or a Willer Express Pass?

Hi everybody.I need your help! My husband and I will reach Osaka on October 19th from Italy.We stay in Osaka and the day after we leave for Kyoto where we have rented a flat for 13 nights.Having Kyoto as a base we would like to make day trips to Nara,Uji,Hikone,Kanazawa, Hiroshima,Miyajimaguchi, Kobe and Amanohashidate. Which Pass should we buy? Consider we shall not travel consecutive days.And in case that Kansai Thru Pass is the choise, can we buy twice each of us? Thanks!

Nara, Uji, Hikone and Kobe are all very closeby and cheaply reached by regular tickets (or IC card).
For the long-distance side trips to Kanazawa, Hiroshima/Miyajima and Amanohashidate a 7-day Japan Rail Pass would pay off.
