Mixed-Gender Outdoor Onsen, Hakone/Gora

Three of us (2 men 1 woman) will be spending one night in the Hakone area this November. I have an ideal vision of an outdoor/rocky/natural onsen with views (of course!) that we could all sit in together. Of course, most onsen are gender-segregated.
We got the good advice to look into rooms with private onsen. However, most of these seem to be sized as individual baths.
Does anyone know of an onsen with a gender-mixed outdoor onsen? Or private onsen/ryokan with multi-person baths? Failing that, any recommendations for gender-segregated onsen with good outdoor facilities?

I suggest you check the following sites http://yunessun-inn.hakone-kowakien.com/http://hotel.hakone-kowakien.com/http://www.yunessun.com/english/First two are hotel where they have Rotenburo and 1 of these hotel also have private onsen where you enjoy with your friends Male/Female together The third site is something you must try. It is an Onsen/SPA resort with more than 20 -25 Onsens indoor and outdoor and males and females can use them together but here you have to wear swim suit. If you really want to enjoy real Japanese experience with mixed bath then you check out Kani-yu, Meotobuchi and Okukinu Onsens. These are very traditional Jaopanese Onsens with outdoor mixed rotemburo. Just google them for results Enjoy and wishing you good luck

Just a warning - if you wear a swimsuit into the baths at Hakone, you will have to throw it away afterwards - the stink of rotten eggs never gets out. Our kids did, and the smell got right through their luggage...
