Using NEX but not to Narita 2014/9/29 10:41
Hi, I was planning to use NEX from Tokyo to Shinjuku cause during the time I arrive at Tokyo (via Nozomi from Nagoya) will be at 7pm Rush Hour+Golden Week, and also cause I'm carrying a large luggage.

Is it advisable? How much will it cost?
I don't mind spending a few more bucks for convenience.

The Golden week in Tokyo is less people(people go out from Tokyo), and large firms close during the holiday. Therefore I think you can easily escape from a rush hour.
If you can use JR Chuo-line(Orange train) from Tokyo station(Departure station) for Shinjuku, you can be easily seated and keep luggage space. Because no passengers on(Due to departure station) as you on board. It costs you 200 Yen(194 Yen with IC cards).
Or if you prefer to use NEX between Tokyo and Shinjuku, there is no ticket check. You can be a free-rider(which I don't recommend you to do so, but you can do it).
