food/shopping around kayabacho station 2014/9/29 18:14
hi,

i will like to ask if there's any recommendation for food or shopping around Kayabacho train station?

I will be staying around the area for 2 days 1 night.
Problem is for the 1st day, i will be checking in to the hotel at only around 5plus 6pm. Should i hang out around Kayabacho or should i travel out to other locations? Afraid that by the time i travel to places like Shibuya or Ueno, shops will be closed for the day already.

thank you!

Condition selection does not seem to be linked well.
All Restaurants in Kayabacho will be displayed, please search by checking the conditions.

I'd suggest heading over to the Coredo Muromachi shopping complex in front of Mitsukoshimae subway station. It's about a 12-minute walk from Kayabacho (or you can take the subway), and you'll find lots of shops open until 8pm, and restaurants and bars open very late.

Here's one of the shops there, with a map if you need one: http://www.whereintokyo.com/venues/25237.html

Actually, on the way there you'll pass the Coredo Nihonbashi complex, also worth a stop but not quite as big or diverse as the one at Mitsukoshimae....
