Is there any traveller has travel Kyoto by bicycle , was it encouraging for using bicycle tour.

Hello, A few years ago, we I and my gf were using bicycle in Kyoto (and Nara). It's in the summer though, very comfortable. Only sloping roads are not fine. Now I search more cheaper rent-a-cycle shop for our next trip. BTW, we rented our bikes at this shop that's near our hotel. http://k-miyabiya.jp/city-price.html
