I'll be flying to Japan next Fri the 17th and this Typhoon has me concerned. Just coming off Phanphone it seems Japan is being hit hard twice. Anywhere there now can shed some light on the goings ons, such as precautions people are taking, are they concerned etc.
Hopefully it dissipates by the time it reaches mainland. Any thoughts?

It is pretty big, and it looks it is going to hit Japan around the 12th - 14th (depending on which area of Japan). Hopefully it will pass without major damages and leave toward the east by the 15th.

The typhoon will be gone till 17th. No worries. The trains should run as usual till then.
