Rail pass?

Hi,

3 of us would be travelling from Tokyo to Osaka and from osaka as the base, we will travel to kobe and kyoto. afterwhich back to tokyo from osaka.

how much is a 2-way ticket for the following:
- Tokyo to osaka
- Osaka to Kobe
- Osaka to kyoto

Would any rail pass be useful for my trip?

If you do the Tokyo-Osaka round trip within 7 days, a 7-day Japan Rail Pass would cost about the same as regular tickets.
