high speed ferry kansai to kobe with bicycle

Can you tell me if i can take my bicycle on this and other high speed ferries?

If not, can you show who i should ask to find out for sure. Presumably, the bike would be dismantled and in a rinko bag. I will have other small bags to carry as well.

Is kobe an ok area to spend your first night in Japan? If i go here, i would try to get outside the city asap and head off on my bicycle journey in a westward direction.

First stop would be Himeiji castle if its open for business again, does anyone know when its reopening?

The Japanese site says you can bring a surfboard up to 2 m long, so I assume it is fine, once it is dismantled and in a bag. I am not 100 % sure though.

Well the price of the ferry looks reasonable. But since the castle won't be open when i arrive in Japan, i probably won't go that direction after all.
