Caving/Canyoning and Onsen December

Hey guys!

Myself and a group of friends are heading over to Japan from November through to mid December.

We are traveling through Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and Kyoto and finally Hiroshima on a JR Rail Pass.

As a group we all would love to do something adventurous together such as Canyoning or Caving and visiting Onsen afterwards.

We have checked a few websites on the two but all seem to have stopped tours in December.

Is there any tours either canyoning or caving that we could do that runs through early December?

If not canyoning or caving, what else could you recommend that isnt snow related.

How about around Lake Kawaguchi ?

Canyons (http://canyons.jp) has caving year round, but canyoning is generally only until October.
