Which airport to land at in Chubu region

which best airport to arrive to if we intend to visit Takayama, Shinakawa and perhaps some beautiful parts of Chubu region if you may recommend. How many days would be sufficient for this area, say 5days (in early Dec)? Should we go to Chubu area first before heading to Tokyo or vice versa? We plan to show our 2 teenage children Japan's culture and their wish to Disneysea in Tokyo. My children wish to see and experience snow; i think Shinakawa or Nagano would be best compared to Hokkaido right?

I think Chubu Airport is better if you will focus to travel Chubu Area.
You can visit Takayama, Nagano, Tokyo area etc easily via Nagoya.

Regarding experience snow in Chubu, Hakuba in Nagano, OkuHida in Gifu are famous ski,snow spots.
Also there are other places depends on your itinerary.
