Where to stay in Chubu region

HI, where best to stay if we wish to go around to Takayama, Shinakawago, Ogimachi? Best is where we can easily arrive from airport and depart to Tokyo (via train, bus) after the stay.

Which hotel would you recommend for a family of 4? tatami style would be good with a budget price. Farmstay is great but i think it is very costly. We intend to stay for 4-5 days to venture around the area.

If you focus cinvinient, best Hotel/Ryokan palce is around Takayama Station.
If you want to stay Ryokan with private hot spring. there are some Ryokan at HidaTakayama although I don't know whether price can cover your expectation.
