Shinfuji station to Lake Kawaguchiko

Hi,

I am travelling on November 21st on the JR Tokaido Shinkansen Line from Tokyo Narita International Airport towards Osaka.

How can I travel from Shinfuji station to Lake Kawaguchiko? How long would this take me? Would another station on this line be more convenient to get off from?

About two hours. But note that there are only five buses per day.

Bus connections from Mishima to Kawaguchiko are faster and more frequent. Alternatively, you could take local trains from Mishima to Gotemba and board a bus to Kawaguchiko from there. Here is the bus timetable:
