Hakone-Machi

Is better to go by JR train to Yugawara, Atami or Mishima and take the bus to Hakone-Machi?

does anybody knows the bus-timetable in this locations?

I think the best way is to take Odakyu or JR to Odawara and then a bus to Hakone-machi (or a train to Hakone-Yumoto and the bus from there).

we would prefer to go via Atami to Hakone-Machi and further on from Hakone-Machi to Mishima.

I rode the bus from Hakone Machi to Yugawara and it was a great ride. Going the other way, FROM Yugawara, sit in the back seat and you will have good views of the ocean as you wind up the mountain.
