Naramachi Shiryokan Location

Could someone please kindly pinpoint me of the Naramachi Shiryokan/Museum Location in google map? I unbelievably have spent almost 2 hours and could not locate it *take a deep breath :D

i've searched every tiny alleys possible until my eyes start to see stars. Just wonder if there's any refurbishment recently in the area with some of the structures yet don't feel convinced as it's a preserved area.

Also I want to confirm if this is the entrance to Koshin-do Hall as it could appear different w/ some other pics. I don't see plenty of monkeys charms hang outside this pic's entrance.

Thank Youu soo muchh for the altitude. That is the structure I was thinking as the museum before. But the wooden plank is different. the structure and the houses next to it are also different. It's sooo confusing to me.

So just want to confirm the structure with a black mail box kind of thing in front of it is the Naramachi Shiryokan??

Thus, from Mochiidono shopping arcade, I'd find Koshin-do Hall first then the Shiryokan one block after?

the last pixtaweb link you post is just another view of the Shiryokan/Museum. Koshindo is on the opposite side of the street a bit closer to mochiidono and can be found with these coordinates 34.676576,135.829701

Yes you're right the previous pic you show before is the other view of Naramachi Shiryokan. I have seen the pdf too but the problem is I couldn't find the entrance/structure as shown in Japan Guide or people's blogs previously.

but in regards to the direction you mention that Koshindo Hall is nearer to Mochiidono than Naramachi Shiryokan a bit confusing to me. This is the pic that I found for the Koshindo Hall/ Monkey Museum

and it's just a bit further down the street from the Shiryokan (2 buildings before the famous Kondou Tofu restaurant). Thus, from Mochiidono, I'd find the Shiryokan first then the Koshindo Hall. Is this the correct pic for Koshindo Hall entrance?

you are correct, Naramachi Shiryokan is closer to Mochiidono than Koshindo Hall.

http://www.panoramio.com/photo/31274245 is the main entrance to the Shiryokan Museum as shown here http://naramachi.co.jp/museum. It is on the north facing edge of the property, and there is no google street view available. The other image that you posted is actually the museum's gift shop and exit.

Thank you for the confirmation. So how could I enter through the main entrance? Google blocks a few portion of the alley that leads towards the next block from the Shiryokan gift shop & exit. I see from the other side of the block and could not see the main entrance either.

Is the main entrance located on the altitude that google blocks? so it's actually an L shaped building/structure.
