Walking Magome to Tsumago Itinerary Check

Hello! We're planning a walk on Sunday (Nov 14) on this old trail, but we're worried about time. We'll be arriving at Nakatsugawa at 10:39, and from there, it looks like the next bus won't come and get us to take us to Magome until after 11. By 11:40 we should be at Magome. If we walk at a slow pace and stop to see the temples and town for a bit, will we be able to catch the bus in Tsumago at 15:07? I don't know how time-consuming viewing the temples and town is. We've been in Japan for a while (months) so we're not entirely picture-crazy, but we'd like to get a feel for the towns rather than just strolling right through.
What do you think?

It's possible to get between the towns in this time, but you will not leave much time in case you want to see anything specifically.
Also, the temples around here are nothing that special (there is a nice one up on the main hill at Megome and another one up on a hill in Tsumago.)
I find the small tea house in the middle of the walk to be nicer than the two temples. I hope this helps. Another 1 or 2 hours would give you a bit more breathing time...

The walk took us 3 hours, no rush and no stopping either. We found Magome and Tsumago interesting; everything else in between / the hike , IMO, was a waste of time.
