4 days, 3 nights visiting Kyoto and Osaka 2014/11/20 00:39
Hi there, need your helps on the itinerary plan. Is it too packed.

1) Flight via KIX
12th Mar 2015 (Thu) ETA 08:25
15th Mar 2015 (Sun) ETD 16:55

2) Day 1 (Stay near Kyoto Station)
Visit Kinkakuji Temple, Nijo Castle, Kiyomizudera, Shinkyogoku

3) Day 2 (Near Kyoto station)
Visit Kyoto Wholesale Food Market / Nishiki Market, Arashiyama, Fushimi Inari, Gion

3) Day 3 (Stay Osaka Namba)
Visit Nara, exploring Osaka (any suggestion?)

4) Day 4
Morning - around Osaka (Any suggestion)
1:00 pm - check out hotel
2:00 pm - move to airport

My other question:
1) JR pass or IOCA card suitable
2) Could see cherry during this time?

Hi

Yes, I think your itinerary could benefit from some tweaking...

2) Day 1 (Stay near Kyoto Station)
Visit Nijo Castle, Kinkakuji Temple, Arashiyama.

3) Day 2 (Near Kyoto station)
Visit Kyoto Wholesale Food Market / Nishiki Market, Shinkyogoku, Kiyomizudera, Gion

3) Day 3 (Stay Osaka Namba)
Visit Fushimi Inari, then on to Nara, continue to Osaka in evening.

4) Day 4
Morning - around Osaka (Any suggestion)
Not much time for sightseeing. Maybe explore Umeda area?
1:00 pm - check out hotel
2:00 pm - move to airport

My other question:
1) JR pass or IOCA card suitable
:: JRP not suitable.
Haruka & ICOCA combi should work for you:

2) Could see cherry during this time?
Doubtful.. you'll probably be about 2 weeks too early.

I agree with Saru bob
first day: as he says.
Second day, the same but reverse sense. As you can see here:http://www.soleilrouge.org/kyoto-itineraire-d-une-journee-bien-remplie

Third day: OK with Saru san

Fourth day: Maybe yous can make this trip if yous hotel is not so far from Namba:http://www.soleilrouge.org/une-journee-entiere-a-osaka

For me: no pass suitable. Icoca should be on service in Kyoto buses next year (I don't know the date...)

No cherryblossom at your dates.
