Kanto Pass for Izu Hanto

plan to do 1 day visiting Izu Hanto from Tokyo. Can Kanto pass get me there free via shinkansen to Atami and local train to Shimoda . Thank you very much

No, the shinkansen part is not covered as it is operated by a different JR company. The pass does cover the limited express trains to Izu Hanto and Izukyu Railway on the peninsula.
